Javier thinks it was even more than 19" in some places.
As always, Gracie loved it! Although I must say, it was a little deep for her.
Isaac still wasn't a fan. He did NOT want to be put down in it. Oh well, maybe next year!
Isaac did enjoy "pulling" the "snow boat" (our name for the sled in an attempt to get him to ride in it...). He wouldn't ride in it, though.
Can you see Javier's car?
We found other ways to have fun while stuck inside. Isaac had a blast playing with black beans.
A couple other fun highlights of the snow:
- We made snow cream the first night. I think it tasted better in my memory (maybe I need a better recipe?), but Isaac did like this!
- In case you're wondering why everyone gets bread, milk & eggs, french toast is delicious when it's snowing outside!
- This was just so pretty! We spent a lot of time looking out the back window, just watching the snow fall.
- Isaac thought it was fun to watch out the window while Javier shovel it. Pretty sure he enjoyed the shoveling more than Javier did.
- We live on a road that gets plowed very quickly. So, even with that much snow, we were able to get out by Friday afternoon.
This is definitely a snow that will be talked about around here for a long time!
