Buddies

We sure hope Isaac & Gracie become good friends. They both love playing with their stuffed toys right now - looks like the beginning of a great friendship!

Lately

Carla came to visit mid-August! It was such a treat to spend the weekend with her, and I was so glad she got to meet Isaac.

Isaac & I spent some time in Chapin before Elizabeth & Rob's wedding while Javier stayed in VA for his work. We had a great time! This was taken on the season's first Solid Orange Friday. Our little tiger's looking good in his jersey. :)

Isaac's been loving the Bumbo lately.

Isaac's starting to sit still long enough to read some. He's been showing a lot more interest in the books, too. This is one of our favorites - Each Peach Pear Plum.

Finally, just an everyday shot. Isaac loves this mirror, and Gracie loves licking Isaac. :) (Although we try to stop her!!)

Isaac's Hair

I figured Isaac's hair needs its own post. After all, the first thing people say when they see him is something along the lines of "what a head of hair" or "love his hair" or "WOW I can't believe his hair".  :) I certainly never expected to be asked about giving a haircut to my 3 month old son, or be caught saying things like "hang on, let me get his hair out of his eyes". And, I most certainly did not expect to be blow drying his hair at 3.5 months!

Tour-de-South-Carolina: Greenville

Whew, I figured since it's September, I should finish the last of these July posts...

Our third stop on our SC trip back in July was Greenville. We were so fortunate to be able to meet Rachel & DJ's new baby Ava at just a little over 2 weeks old! I was also able to catch up with several friends and celebrate Ava with a baby shower and my friend Elizabeth with a wedding shower. Whew, busy 2 days! In all the busy-ness, there are only a few pictures of the kiddos.
